Jake Dumont hit six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 22 points as Pelham jumped out to a 21-point first quarter lead and rolled to a 75-40 win over Souhegan. Jake McGlinchey added 15 points while Zach Jones grabbed 11 rebounds for the unbeaten Pythons (11-0).

Pelham's wrestlers defeated Souhegan 39-30 to finish the regular season at 6-4 as they gear for the Division 3 dual tourney. Nathan Maslanek moved up to 113 again and prevailed with a 10-5 decision and Patrick Soonthornprapuet had a 29-second pin.

Pinkerton's gymnastics team opened its season with an easy first place in a 9-team meet. Sophia Viger was first in the bars and the beam and was the all-around champ and Hana Phaneuf was third in all-around.

Pelham stuffs 2-pt conversion to win in OT

AMHERST — It all came down to one play, but the Pelham defense was more than up to the task.

The Pythons took the lead in overtime after Charlie Katin scored on a 10-yard run and the PAT was drilled home by Jake Herrling. Souhegan scored on its overtime possession to make it 21-20, but decided to go for the two-point conversion and the win.
