 TILTON, N.H. — Undefeated Pelham wasted no time in putting away winless Winnisquam Saturday.

The Pythons (8-0) scored 21 points in the first quarter and was ahead 47-0 at halftime when the officials called the game because of a shortage of Winnisquam players.

Pelham advances

 

Maddie Cote scored in the first half and Hannah Deschene made a fantastic save in the second half as Pelham defeated Oyster River in the Division 2 girls soccer first round. The Pythons will now play at Pembroke Sunday at 2 p.m.
