Maddie Solt fanned 13 in a five-hitter to life Salem softball over Manchester Central/Memorial, 4-2.

Freshman Madeline Beeley filled in at pitcher and allowed just four hits and no earned runs in seven innings, and hit a home run of her own as Salem rolled past Nashua South 13-2. Addison Lucier and Emersen Poulin each drove in three runs for the winners.

Jennifer Olson was 3 for 4 with 3 runs and 2 RBIs as Salem downed Portsmouth 14-2. Ava McNamara and Emersen Poulin each drove in three runs for the winners.

Nick Furnari scored team-highs in kills (22), aces (5) and digs (6) as Windham beat Salem 3-1 in a battle of New Hampshire powers. Blake Dempsey added 12 kills and three blocks for the winners.

Joe Packowski won the javelin (145-10) to lead Pinkerton to the team title (80 points) at the Kiwanis Freshman-Sophomore boys Meet. Astro Zack Smith added a win in the 400 (53.43). Earning second-place finishes were Salem's Nick Daigle in the high jump (5-3), Windham's Justin Leppanen in the 110 hurdles (18.53) and Pinkerton's Landon Mackiernan in the 300 hurdles (48.19) and Noah Daigle in the 3,200 (10:27.71).

Salem's Lily Thomas won the mile (5:36.13), one of three local champions at the Kiwanis Freshman-Sophomore girls Meet. Timberlane's Kiersten MacKeen took the high jump (4-10) and Windham's Kelly Wright took the javelin (92-3). Pinkerton's Contessa Silva was second in the 800 (2:28.68).

Delaney Condon drilled a two-run homer and Abigail Farone held Salem to three hits while striking out six as Timberlane defeated Salem 4-0.

Salem had just one hit in the game, but it was a triple by Ryan Pacy, and he was then driven in by Sean Roeger in the third inning, and the Blue Devils beat Winnacunnet 1-0. Ryan Gomez allowed just three hits and struck out six in a complete game to earn the win.

Ava McNamara, Vania Moniz and Emersen Poulin each hit a home run as Salem crush Bedford 14-8 on Monday. McNamara and Poulin each finished with four RBIs and Madeline Beeley added three hits for the winners.

Freshman Kelly Wright allowed just three hits and struck out seven in a complete game, as Windham shocked previously-unbeaten defending state champ Salem 2-1 on Friday. Ari DeCotis had two doubles and drove in a run and Kati Nolan added an RBI for the winners. Vania Moniz drove in Salem's lone run.
