Central beat Dracut, 70-43, giving coach Casey Grange her 100th basketball win for the Raiders. Ashley Dinges (27 points, 19 rebounds) was unstoppable, Brady Finney contributed 13 points and Sam Guertin anchored the defense.

He then made it 21-0 at halftime with a 7-yard TD pass to Nick Ankiewicz and an 8-yard touchdown run.O'Connell opened the third quarter with a 12-yard touchdown run, then closed out the scoring with a 15-yard TD scamper. Sandwiched between those two scores was a Zach Wolinski 4-yard touchdown run. "I thought our defense did a great job keeping their offense in check," said Dubzinski. "It was a good win, but we still have plenty we need to get better at."

Jackie Gaigals and Caitlyn Nims got their first wins and Methuen-Tewksbury swimming rolled past Billerica to improve to 8-0.

Emma Daubresse and Shelby Nassar each scored twice, Brenna O'Brien added a goal and the North Andover defense didn't allow a shot on net on the way to a 5-0 win over Dracut.

Methuen's Brian Zraket and Matt Pappalardo tied for medalist honors, each shooting a 36, leading the Rangers to a 15.5-4.5 win over Dracut. Brady Morris was next best with a 39.

Jonathan Diaz scored all three goals for Methuen in a 3-0 shutout of Dracut. The hat trick gives Diaz seven goals on the season.
