Salem volleyball punches title ticket

Roman Fabrizo notched 28 assists and 10 digs, Ben Laycock had eight blocks and seven kills and No. 2 Salem cruised past No. 3 Goffstown 25-22, 25-16, 25-21 to earn its first state title game trip since 2015.
 
 
Jarrett Dennis added 13 service points and Alex Stift had eight kills for the Blue Devils (18-2), who advance to face rival No. 1 Windham in the state championship on Saturday (6 p.m.) at Nashua North. The two teams split their regular season matchups.
