Sanborn senior Morgan Farmer had four hits, including a double and home run, in a 7-5 win over Farmington.

Co-captain Garrett Cristaldi worked hard on the boards, hauling down eight rebounds including three on the offensive end, but it wasn't quite enough in Sanborn's 60-42 Farmington Christmas Tourney loss to the host squad.

Lydia Colbert fired a no-hitter with eight strikeouts as Sanborn blanked Farmington, 8-0. In her fiirst varsity start, Celine Savat singled, tripled and did a fine job behind the plate.

It took a pair of overtimes, but Sanborn finished off Farmington 53-50. Leading by a point with five seconds on the clock, Robbie Ficker nailed a pair of high-pressure shots from the charity stripe to seal the win.

Sanborn rolled past Farmington, 6-0. Jed Magnusson and Logen Johnson scored two goals each and Garrett Boucher and Cody Lloyd also added goals.

Pelham junior Bruce Vieira found the end zone five times, helping Pelham pound Farmington 58-0 in a game that was postponed twice over the weekend due to rain and field conditions.

Vieira's first touchdown was a 43-yard punt return that was nearly called back when an unsportsmanlike conduct flag was thrown against one of his blockers. Fortunately for Vieira and the Pythons, a Farmington player retaliated and the penalties negated one another.
