Brennan Chase scored the game-winner in overtime to help lead Salem boys hockey to a thrilling 5-4 win over Londonderry. Jackson Doughty, Max Condon, Luke Barton and Jake Barton also scored for Salem and Colby Savageau had 24 saves in net.

Jariel Hernandez (138 pounds) took a major decision, 16-5, to help Salem beat Londonderry 61-13. Evan Lynch (106 pounds) added a pin in just 0:35.

Senior Brody McGratty scored a career-high 15 points as North Andover beat Londonderry 67-62 in overtime. Jack O'Connell (14 points) and Zach Wolinski (13 points) also excelled for the Scarlet Knights.

Andover girls basketball limited Londonderry to just six points in the first half, rolling to a 60-23 win. Marissa Kobelski led the Golden Warriors with 15 points, while Anna Foley added 13 points.

Sean Njenga scored 23 points and Xavier McKenzie added 20 as Central Catholic rolled past Londonderry, 60-28.

Andover placed second to Mt. Anthony of Vermont at the 15-team Londonderry Invitational wrestling meet. Andover winners were Yandel Morales at 106, Jonathan Davila at 152; Max McNeeley at 160 and Yasser Maita at 220.

LONDONDERRY — Salem coach Steve Abraham had a message for his players as the clock ticked down in Saturday's New Hampshire Division 1 semifinal.

"I challenged them," said Abraham. "I told them, no matter what that scoreboard says, you keep swinging until the game's over, and they did. This team has heart."

Zach Smith scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Gio Iob in the 64th minute to give No. 11 Pinkerton an upset 2-1 win over archrival No. 6 Londonderry in the Division 1 North first round. Landan Villanueve added the other goal for the Astros, who next take on No. 3 Hanover on Friday (3 p.m.)
