Timberlane pushed Bishop Guertin into sudden death last night before falling in the seventh round of penalty kicks, losing a 3-2 decision in the first round of the Division 1 soccer tourney.
Challenged by coach Jeff Baumann to "leave it all out on the field" after trailing 2-0 at halftime, the Owls responded with an early goal from Rachel Morrier and a tying score from Kaitlyn Donnelly with two minutes left in regulation.
"I have to congratulate the senior class for helping us turn things around," Baumann said. "It was my first class I coached and it'll be tough to see them go."
