Timberlane's unbeaten wrestling team whipped Londonderry 55-9, but the Lancers wrestled a lot better than the score indicates. Mitch Rose won a tough 2-0 decision over Tyler Fitzpatrick in a 106-pound batttle, and both Will Bean (138) and Matt Cabezas (160) had decisions over veteran Owls. Among the highlights for Tinberlane was a 5-0 decision by freshman Dan Scalzo over Londonderry's Kyle Byrd, a 5-0 decision by frosh Shawn Ahern at 145 and a 34-second pin by heavyweight Jordan Eastman.

"We were pleased with our young guys, but they wrestled us tough," said Timberlane coach Barry Chooljian.
