Exeter pulls away late to beat stubborn Salem

Salem battled defending Division 1 champion Exeter evenly in the first half, but the Blue Hawks' relentless offense finally broke through in the final 24 minutes for a 35-6 victory.

The Blue Devils' only scoring drive was a beauty, a 22-play, 80-yard monster that consumed over nine minutes off the clock. Rasheed Adigun (29 rushing yards on the night) bulled in from 2 yards out early in the second quarter to draw Salem within a point at the time.
