Strengths: Mahan (14 ppg.) is a returning Commonwealth Conference All-Star and could be one of North Shore leaders in 3-point baskets. The players are coachable and several of them made a strong commitment in the offseason by attending a basketball camp.
Concerns: There isn't a lot of size to begin with and the Bulldogs will have to wait for the 6-2 Rainville, who has a stress fracture in his back and won't return until mid-January at the earliest.
Coach's outlook: "My outlook is to win the small school division in our conference. Northeast Metro will be a major competitor but we hope to make the state tournament. We are getting better as a program."
