Whether by land or air, Timberlane was able to move the ball against Dover.

Josh David pummelled the defense for 178 yards and three touchdowns while QB Erik Nelson aired it out for 157 yards on 10-of-14 passing as the Owls snapped a two-game losing skein, 35-13.

"For the second week in a row our defense was outstanding," said Timberlane head coach Kevin Fitzgerald. "Offensively, I was pleased with the way we handled the clock."

David rung up the first three Owl scores on runs of 4, 4 and 5 yards to give the hosts a 20-7 halftime advantage.

Timberlane effectively drained the clock against Dover, grinding out a 7 1/2-minute long drive in the third quarter before wrapping up the victory on a 7-yard Tyler Furey tote with four minutes left to play in the game.

"I'm happy for our seniors to win their last home game," said Fitzgerald.
