Tim McLinden gave up a penalty point at the end of regulation, but then got a takedown in overtime to win his fourth match of the day and five Timberlane a 33-29 victory over Danbury, the No. 1 -ranked team in Connecticut, to capture the New Fairfield Dual-Meet Tournament.

Also with big wins agsinst Danbury were Mike DiGregorio (182), Shawn Grenier (220) and heavyweight Zach Stewart. DiGregorio was 3-0 with three pins on the day.

Overall for the unbeaten Owls (20-0), Ryan Peters (138), Dan Scalzo (145) and Brian Lonergan (160) were all 4-0. Peters had four pins and has recorded pins in 12 of his last 13 matches.

"We wrestled really well all day, especially against Bristol Eastern (55-18 win)," said Timberlane coach Barry Chooljian. "They were ranked No. 4 in Connecticut."
