Coach: Tim Foley (24th season)
Last season: 4-6
Captains: Richie Roy, Richie Pace
Returning lettermen: Mark Bajko, Tom Svirsky, Sean Simon, Luke Earls, Greg Englehart, Sam Bensley, Denis Ipbuken, Nick Welch, Ben Adsit, Thayer Adsit
Newcomers: Robert Sullivan, Brendan Murphy, Peter Mattheson, Ryan Casey, Brian Morse, Jack Ronan, Jack Barry, Elias Earls, Tom Dwyer, Rob Della Croce
Strengths: Throwing events, hurdles. Pace returns as the top Cape Ann league performer in the shot put and javelin. Roy figures to compete for a CAL title in the hurdles events.
Concerns: Sprints. Indoor sprinter Kyle LeBlanc plays baseball in the spring, so the Clippers will need to find a front-line contender during the dual-meet season.
First meet: Triton and Wilmington at Newburyport, Wednesday (3:30 p.m.)
Coach's outlook: "We have some nice front-liners in a few areas, but we need to develop the younger athletes to give us a better opportunity to be successful."
