ANDOVER — Jim Turner scored on a 1-yard run midway through the fourth quarter and that was the difference as unbeaten Suffield topped Phillips 7-0.
The Big Blue (3-2) drove deep into Tiger territory but couldn't cash in.
"I'm proud of the kids. This team beat us 35-0 last year," said Phillips coach Leon Modeste.
There were plenty of defensive stalwarts for the hosts. John Simourian had 7 tackles, James Antoine notched 6 tackles and a sack, Joe Scibelli had 6 tackles and Adam Cohen contributed 6 tackles and a sack.
