It was a wild season-opener for Haverhill baseball. Trailing 10-6 to Dracut in the bottom of the fifth, the Hillies plated four runs, the last of which came on a suicide squeeze, and then walked off in the bottom of the seventh on a wild pitch. Joe Santoro had four RBIs, and sophomore Bryan Carter threw two scoreless innings to pick up the win.
