Oyster River won its eighth girls tennis match in its last 10, edging Windham, 5-4 to wrap up the regular season. Loren Bostic was strong in defeat for the Jaguars, winning an 8-0 shutout in first singles and teaming with Basie Bostic to prevail at first doubles.

Ashley Adamson tossed a two-hitter in game one and Rachel Vafides followed with a four-hit, nine-strikeout performance as Windham swept past Mancheter West, 3-2 and 11-3.

Windham's boys tennis team capped a fine 12-2 regular season and tuned up for the playoffs with a 6-3 victory over Pelham. Steven Brandt and David Musto both won their singles match and combined for an 8-3 win at second doubles.

Leadoff batter Hannah Paitchell had three more hits, scoring twice and driving in a run, to lift her batting average to .500, as Pelham clipped Windham 7-5 in a battle of two teams battling to qualify for the tournament. Jordan Parece threw a three-hitter for the win and helped her own cause with two hits and two runs scored.

Londonderry's volleyball team defeated Windham 3-1 as Jared Schwalbe had a career-high 19 kills and Mike Brown had a career-high 41 assists.

Battling for a playoff spot through a brutal schedule, Windham saw Bedford erase a three-run deficit and surge to a 10-4 victory. Steve Dastous had two hits including a triple with an RBI for Windham, and Zach Sprague stepped up with a two-hit effort from the No. 9 spot.

Windham softball led 5-0 heading into the bottom of the third when the game was suspended due to rain. Haley Psareas and Olivia Estes sparked the Jaguars with back-to-back triples. A date to continue the game is TBA.

With a home playoff game as a big goal, Colin Gerstenberger stepped up as part of a fourth-quarter explosion that earned Windham lacrosse a key 9-4 victory over Kennett. In only his fifth game at attack, the senior sparked a seven-goal Jaguar blitz with his three-goal, three-assist effort. "Colin did a great job finding open guys with passes," said head coach Joe Young.

With Windham's softball team clinging to a 5-3 lead with a St. Thomas runner on base in the seventh inning, Jaguars' center fielder Cailyn Costa went deep to make a nifty catch and threw it back to the infield for a double play to end the game. Emily Comtois led the offense with three hits and two RBIs.

Tori Cipollone turned aside 20 shots as unbeaten Windham held off upset-minded Hopkinton 14-12. Kayla Breton and Melissa Cino pumped in four goals apiece.
