Red-hot Abby Sullivan had a season-high 22 kills and 10 blocks as Methuen improved to 14-5 with a 3-1 victory over Lowell. Cristina Lucas led the team in service points and digs.

Lancers near .500

 

The Lawrence volleyball team  moved closer to .500 and a tournament berth with a sweep of Lowell, improving to 8-9. Brandey Rodriguez had 16 kills and Moralys De La Rosa had 10 aces and played a strong all-around game.

The Andover girls volleyball team beat Lowell 3-1, with Julia McBride recording 14 kills and 6 digs to lead the way. Andover is now 10-2 on the year and his qualified for the postseason.

Haverhill improved to 4-1 overall with a straight-game sweep (25-18, 25-13, 25-13) of Lowell Monday. Mary Rose Steed led the Hillies with 20 digs, Shayla Doherty added 23 assists and Kiana Bueno led the way with 14 kills.

Efosa, Whittier rally in thriller

Freshman Grace Efosa led Whittier with 10 kills and 10 blocks as the Wildcats rallied after losing the first two games to defeat Lowell 20-25, 15-25, 25-18, 29-27, 15-10. Cam Dumont added 43 digs for the winners.
