Battle of undefeateds

Both North Andover and Masco entered yesterday's action at 9-0 in the conference, but it was the Knights that remained undefeated with a huge 22-11 win. Jenn Pino was the star of the game racking up a career-high nine goals. Bri Connolly matched her point production (four goals, five assists), and Katie Kleinendorst chipped in five (three goals, two assists). Standout netminder Steph Taylor was all over the place as she turned aside 18 shots. The Knights defense, led by Kelly O'Connor and Amanda Wescott, was superb throughout.

Masco holds Georgetown/Hartford in check

After scoring 11 goals and totaling 26 points in the first two goals of the season, Georgetown's Shannon Hartford was held scoreless in a 16-10 loss to Masconomet. Hartford did tally three assists in the loss while senior Kelly Burke and junior Meghan Makiver each scored four times for the Royals.

Meghan Makiver (4 goals), Kelly Burke (4 goals), Kim Nowers (1 goal), Kristin Pingree (1 goal, 1 assist), and Shannon Hartford (3 assists) all notched points in Georgetown's loss to Masconomet yesterday, 16-10.
