Timberlane fought back after some bad bounces deveolped into a 2-0 Keene lead at halftime, but couldn't overcome the deficit in a 2-1 Division 1 first round loss. Adam Peeler cut the lead in half but the 11th seeded Owls could get no closer to No. 6 Keene.

With the game tied at halftime, James Doiron tallied all three of his goals in the second half, and Tom Sullivan sealed the game with a pair of ourstanding saves to give Timberlane a 4-1 win over Merrimack.

Tough, tough call

This one will linger for awhile. Winnacunnet scored a controversial penalty kick goal with three seconds left in the second sudden-death OT to beat Timberlane, 1-0.  

"He was fouled outside the box," sighed Timberlane coach Bill Mealey. "There were two horrific PK calls. We got one, too. Winnacunnet coach Nick Rowe would tell you the same thing, too. My goalie is furious because (the ref) didn't even ask if he was ready."
