Phillips nearly pulled off the upset of tourney-dominant Hotchkiss, but fell just short.

Hotchkiss ended the drama with a goal early in overtime to hand the Big Blue  a  1-0 loss in the New England Prep A semifinals.

Summer Washburn of Andover's goal on a corner with 34 seconds in the half gave Phillips all the momentum and the Big Blue field hockey team raced past Nobles, 3-0, in the New England Prep A quarterfinals. Brooke Van Valkenburg contributed a goal and an assist. Phillips has a huge task in the semis against Hotchkiss, which is eying its ninth straight title.

The Phillips Academy field hockey team let a 1-0 lead slip away with no time left in regulation, but rallied to defeat arch-rival Phillips Exeter 2-1 in overtime. Summer Washburn scored both goals for the Big Blue (13-2). Phillips Exeter dropped to 11-3-2. 

Tied the gma with 3:18 and winning with 1;09 ... Greer and Mari had game-winner.

Natalee Sohn scored the game-winning goal with 52 seconds left in overtime to get the win for Phillips 2-1. Mari Walsh had the assist and also scored a goal in the game.

Summer may have ended a few days ago but its always summertime at Phillips. Summer Washburn of Andover scored twice as the Big Blue field hockey team blanked Loomis 3-0.
