Brooks kept its tourney hopes alive with a 49-26 pounding of St. Marks. Freshman Alex Norgaisse of Haverhill had a big day for Brooks with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore Thalia Garcia drained six 3-pointers in a game-high 25-point performance.

Brooks, a member of New Enland Prep Class B, gave Class A power Thayer Academy a battle before falling two points short, 55-53. North Andover's Meaghan Flanagan scored 13 to lead the Green and White while Haverhill's Alex Norgasi grabbed 10 rebounds and scored eight.

Brooks stuns Kimball Union

Suki Smith scored 14 points and had eight rebounds as Brooks rallied from a 13-point deficit to hand Kimball Union its second loss of the season, 48-45. Kimball Union's Gabby Diaz, of Lawrence, had four 3-ponters (16 points).

Sophomore Suki Smith had an outstanding day for Brooks as she scored a game-best 27 points during a 47-38 win over Middlesex.  The Boxford resident also had 22 rebounds.as Brooks improved to 6-2. Haverhill resident Alex Norgaisse had 18 rebounds to go alog with her seven points.
