Kayla Pellot, Kelleigh Cokely and Hannah Guselli led an inspired defensive effort as Haverhill rolled past Worcester South, 43-24. Pellot and Guselli also combined for 22 points.

Haverhill was shackled to just 12 percent field goal shooting in its 38-28 loss to Everett. Kayla Pellot and Hannah Guselli led the Hillies with seven points apiece.

One day after qualifying for the state tournament, Haverhill's girls basketball team fell at Dracut 53-31 despite 14 points from Kayla Pellot. In addition to the loss, the Hillies (10-5) may have lost point guard Jessica Cotto for awhile with an ankle sprain.

Kayla Pellot netted a game-high 20 points, including pouring in three 3-pointers, to lift Haverhill to a 58-54 victory over Lawrence in an MVC clash.

Molly Hoops had eight blocks and seven rebounds to go along with her four-point effort, but Haverhill came out on the short end of a 34-22 decision to Tewksbury. Hannah Gusselli led the Hillies (9-4) with eight points.

Kayla Pellot hit three 3-pointers on her way to 15 points as Haverhill downed Notre Dame 44-30.

Haverhill had to overcome an eight-point deficit in the final 2 1/2 minutes to snatch one away from Tewksbury.  Kayla Pellot scored nine of he game-high 15 points in those final 2 1/2 minutes and scored the game-leading basket with 26 seconds let in the game. Natalie Campusao had eight rebounds.

Nathalie Nader is only 5-foot-7 but she acted like a monster inside, grabbing 16 rebounds to help Haverhill girls basketball to a 68-25 victory over Mt. St. Joseph. 

Nina Santiago had a double-double, scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Lawrence beat Haverhill 52-45. Santiago hit two 3-pointers during the game. Jessica Cotto led the Hillies with 11 points.

Junior guard Kayla Pellot poured in a career-high 30 points as Haverhill topped Worcester South 51-31. The Hillies improved to 6-1 ont eh season with 10 rebounds from 5-foot-11 center Molly Hoopes.
