Brian Delaney's two-out single in the last of the seventh gave Phillips Academy a thrilling 4-3 win over Worcester Academy and a two-game sweep for the Central New England championships.

Tom Palleschi made his mound debut, going two innings and earning the win, as Phillips tripped Tabor 11-4. The Haverhill resident also smacked a three-run homer.

Senior Dan Dymecki was "fantastic" in the words of his coach, Phillips' Kevin Graber.

And that may be am understatement after the performance senior rigty threw yesterday in a two-hit mastepiece. Dymecki, who is headed to Lafayette for baseball, struck out nine and needed just 74 pitches to finish off Deerfield Academy.

Chris Hohlstein went 4 for 4, including a three-run homer and had four RBIs as Phillips ran over Nobles, 15-1. Brian Hanafin and Will Poss each had two hits and Tom Palleschi had a two-run homer.
