WINDHAM — In the blink of an eye, Salem found itself in a battle with Windham on Saturday.

When the Jaguars’ Joey DaSilva ran a QB sneak into the end zone for a touchdown with 4:15 left in the game, a three-touchdown Blue Devil lead entering the fourth quarter had been cut to just six points.

LONDONDERRY — Windham could do nothing to slow defending Division 1 state champion Londonderry and star QB Dylan McEachern, as the Jaguars fell 41-0 on Friday night.

Stephen Mague led Windham (0-2), rushing for a team-high 94 yards on eight carries and making nine tackles. Jackson Milano made a team-best 13.5 tackles, while Keegan Parke made 11 stops.

But McEachern continued to surge for Londonderry (3-0). He rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns and threw a third score.

Windham faces another tough task in its regular season finale, hosting Salem (2-1) next Saturday (1 p.m.)

DERRY - Pinkerton coach Brian O'Reilly had a very simple message at halftime on Saturday, as his team clung to a six-point lead over upset-minded Windham.

"I asked them what kind of team they were going to be," said O'Reilly. "It was anyone's game. Were we going to stop making silly mistakes? Were we going to control the line of scrimmage? We were going to find out what kind of team this could be."
